doris? a bridezilla? no way, jose! keao says, in the weeks leading up to his big day.. his sweet, thoughtful wife-to-be turned into a BRIDEZILLA!! we find that.. a little hard to believe. doris is the sweetest thing, and on her wedding day.. she was cool as a cucumber, probably the most content and mellow bride we’ve ever seen! we’re so stoked that their same-day edit totally mirrored the feel of their wedding day: fun… lighthearted… memorable!  just as they wanted =). we love you guys! -KA

if you pinned us down and asked us “what was your all-time most favorite wedding to film?” — we’d say…

…well, we’d say… “we CAN’T say, of course! that just wouldn’t be fair!” but, minh-han and reff’s wedding was definitely among the top!

we met minh-han and reff through another ARIA couple, aggie and jon. they asked us if we could film their wedding in napa… we started counting down the days!

it was any cinematographers dream. the natural beauty.. the temperature… the atmosphere.. was amazing. but, more than that… minh-han + reff and their family and friends were a BLAST! they are fun, sweet, and so super thoughtful (they even sent a welcome goodie bag to our hotel and gave us presents to take home!).

we could have been anywhere… and we would have LOVED their wedding just the same. being in beautiful napa.. was just yummy butter cream frosting on top of the cake! =)  –KA

what can i say about noele and mark?! there is just TOO MUCH. noele and mark came to us over a year ago with their (or should i say mark’s) over-the-top ideas for their photo and cinema and super duper contagious excitement and energy. we were rolling on the floor laughing about nonsense for about two hours the very first time we met. love at first meeting. over the last year… we did a series of e-shoots… got to know them… their family/friends… and put together a super fun love story. their wedding was stunning. everything about it.

our most favorite part about what we do, is getting to know our couples and building lifelong relationships. mark and noele are perfect examples — and they will always be ARIA family. just three days after their wedding, they served as guest judges for this year’s Project: ARIA. it was a blast! we’ll miss you mark and noele!! all the best to your new life together in the windy city!!  –KA

it was pretty obvious. we were meant to be. yes, ‘we’ — as in melissa and angelo and ARIA =)

they rock converses, ray bans, and sweater vests (or so we saw in their slideshow) — and they LOVE purple. SO DO WE! so weird!! we couldn’t ask for a more dope wedding and cooler couple to film.

melissa and “jello” are funky, fun and crazy about each other — even after being together for 10 years! about 150 guests flew down from all over the world (mostly california) to celebrate in style. they had a blast — how could they not.

turn up the volume and enjoy their same-day edit.

kash (KA²) and i were hanging out with jade and ronen a few days before their wedding, and ronen asked, ‘what do grooms usually do before they get ready,’ to which we replied, ‘we don’t want to film you doing what grooms usually do, we want to film you… being you.’

he said, ‘cool! we were thinking of going paddling.’
we said, ‘cool! WE’RE COMING!!’

…jade, by the way, was pretty bummed that she had to sit and be pampered. she would have *much* rather be out on the water with the guys.

a little mcdonalds, a little patron, and a whole heap of fun and personality.. jade and ronen’s wedding was a BLAST to film, and jade and ronen were a BLAST to get to know. they are sweet, exciting, and as real as you can get. wishing you guys the best!! …and a ‘good, good life.’ –KA

When I went over to where Eli was getting ready, he began to watch some basketball (their wedding happened to fall on the deciding playoff game between LA and PHX) Now, I’m a big fan of basketball, but when he asked me if I like the Lakers, I paused… That was a mistake. After getting over the fact that I wasn’t exactly rooting for his team, he invited me to relax and enjoy the game a bit.

This is a same-day edit that I put together for them and my perspective of their day. They are fun, they loved when every little detail of their wedding (especially the sign!), and they are very caring for everyone around them (they even put together a comprehensive list of things to do on Kauai for their guests!) leo and shalene were born and raised on maui… and now live almost 3,000 miles away.. in VIVA! LAS VEGAS! when they started planning their wedding — they wanted something small… and intimate. the problem was — their families are HUGE ….and there’s no way they would have tied the knot without them. so — half of maui showed up to witness their stunning ceremony at haiku mill. somehow though, the huge wedding felt intimate. when shalene walked down the aisle, it was just the two of them… they locked eyes and leo mouthed “baby, you look so beautiful.” (gushes) it was one of the sweetest things i’ve ever seen.  -KA

porsche and micah love their doggies… love each other… and LOOOOOOOVE BLING! their first dog is named “bling bling,” the theme of their wedding was pink and BLING, and their new last name together is “ADAMAS,” latin for “diamond.” in P&M’s own words, they wanted “an original last name to symbolize [their] new beginning together and to reflect the strength and sublime love [they] have for each other.”
from the flowers… to porsche’s custom gown and diamonds… stunning cake and surprise (hulk) groom’s cake.. everything about P&M’s wedding was EPIC (as micah would say). but, the very best thing about the day — by far — was porsche and micah. they are adorable, spunky, original, and make us feel like we’ve been friends forever. ARIA hearts Porsche and Micah!

we asked sarah and grant, “what are you most looking forward to at the wedding?” they said, “OUR SAME-DAY EDIT!!” (kolby blushes), followed almost immediately with “ooh, and our DECOR!” We knew right then, we wanted their flowers to be a big part of the SDE. sarah and grant are ADORABLE — from the way they interact with their friends and family — to the way they quietly joke with each other — and the way sarah cried throughout her entire day. we LOOOVE sarah and grant — and are sooooo honored to be a part of their perfect day!

Elegant white dress… tearful maid-of-honor speech… a precious father/daughter, mother/son dance… it had all the signs of a traditional Hawaii wedding. But, Cameron and Jacque’s big day was anything but. Ask anyone — it was a PARTY — a full day of belly laughs, spunk, and personality. Oh, so totally Cam and Jacque =)

The flowers, the venue, the little details… EVERYTHING was picture perfect and the bride and groom were stunning. But, from the very beginning, this fun-loving, down-to-earth couple’s attitude was, ‘eh, whatever… we just want our guests to have a BLAST!’
