Starr + Eli // part one: SDE

Starr and Eli are a couple from L.A. (they look like movie stars!) In such a short time we were able to get to know them and really connect with them. I couldn’t wait to meet Starr. Kolby had told me that Starr was a BIG fan of the film I did. Sure enough, as soon as I walk into the room, Starr jets over to where I was and starts talking about how much she wanted to meet me! Really? Me? Most couples don’t know I exist prior to me showing up that day! I knew from that moment that I liked this one, my one and only fan =)

When I went over to where Eli was getting ready, he began to watch some basketball (their wedding happened to fall on the deciding playoff game between LA and PHX) Now, I’m a big fan of basketball, but when he asked me if I like the Lakers, I paused… That was a mistake. After getting over the fact that I wasn’t exactly rooting for his team, he invited me to relax and enjoy the game a bit.

This is a same-day edit that I put together for them and my perspective of their day. They are fun, they loved when every little detail of their wedding (especially the sign!), and they are very caring for everyone around them (they even put together a comprehensive list of things to do on Kauai for their guests!)
